I walked into JD Gym Thornton-cleveleys on 5th of September and signed up. I was looking for a personal trainer who could knock me into shape whilst being sensitive to the fact I'd never been into a gym before. Matty answered the call and I had my first teaser session with him the following evening. I've now spent 12 x 1 hour sessions with him and yep, he knows his stuff. But beyond that, he's a thoroughly nice guy. We chat, have a bit of a laugh, but all the time he's pushing me, supporting me. He is my gym buddy on Tuesdays and Thursdays, leaving me to do my cardio work in the gym the rest of the week. He helped me 'get over' my gymtimidation. I genuinely look forward to visiting the gym, especially on the days with Matty when I know he'll push me to help me achieve my ultimate goals.
